Hello. Could somebody open a Plymouth A100 2023 entry please when able. Thank you.
All A100 courses should now have threads linked above
I've given every A100 2023 entry thread a Red Title in the Forum.
I will give every A101 2023 entry thread another colour once they are all up.

This is to easily identify threads in the medical schools forum which are not part of the main Med School threads.
8 more A101 threads are now up, 2 to go
Should have time for the rest this evening

Thank you - appreciate a time consuming task!

Can the 2022 schools index come back as a sticky please as the threads are still live.

Plus because some of the newly set up 2023 threads dont have a link to the 2022 for ease of reference (to save all those "please check last years thread" references") its quite hard to find the right school threads. The original 2023 threads set up by ecolier had those links in.

I know I am trawling through both the previous year entry and offer threads for the schools we are looking at so others may be too.

1. Done, it will need to be unstuck eventually though

2. Priority right now is just getting the 2023 threads up, threads can be edited later. Thank you for the feedback. :yy:

Hi all,
Thanks for all the help you offer. I'm applying for medical school 2023 entry. Was wondering where I can find the number of medical school places available at each university. I looked at the Kings College and Nottingham website, couldn't find how many places are available. I heard at the Open day at Imperil that they have 345 places. Is this information given out only on open days?

These are the headline funded figures from the government for 2022/23.
But there might be a bit of local fudging. For example this shows Plymouth as having international places for 2022 but their admissions policy is clear that they can’t take international students for 2023. So need to wait until updated for 2023/24 but a reasonable indication for now.

It’s what the govt tells them they can have so on balance I would say it’s trustworthy. Some, like Liverpool, may have several deferred places filled already but you won’t find that out at this stage.

Thank you, this is useful since I had no idea about the number of places available at the different medical schools. I was seeing some information regarding number of interviews different universities give but relate to success rate.
What does it mean course suspended for Birmingham and liverpool??

Hi, is there an A100 thread for Cardiff in the medschools forum please? @04MR17

The link goes somewhere else… or is there only one thread, but it sits elsewhere. I keep losing it 😃
