Any idea about KMMS offer rate for 21/22 cycle? I can only find 20/21 info which does not look too great

Hi guys, im thinking of applying to KMMS. A graduate with two degrees and UCAT completed this summer (2600 b3). Do you reckon I will have a chance to get an interview?

It will depend on your CASPer result

Hello, does my application get reviewed before sending the CASPer test? Or are we expected to set the CASPer before the 15th of October?

You first need to meet the minimum academic requirements, then be above the UCAT cutoff, then if you meet those conditions they'll invite you to sit CASPer late November (according to their Instagram stories)

Hey,

It's an exam that those in Group C,D and E might have to take. It doesn't apply to us

It's an additional test (I believe it's a situational judgement type but you get to type out your answer as opposed to it being multiple choice) that KMMS makes people take when it can't contextualise their grades, e.g. graduates. Your combined CASPer + academic + NHS/Kent residence score are then used to select people to invite to interview.

Again this is all just from their Instagram stories but apparently for grads and other non-contextualisable applicants they add to your shortlisting score if a) you've worked in the NHS in the past and/or b) if you're likely to stay in Kent after you graduate from KMMS (which is suggested by previously being resident in Kent).

Hey I am thinking of applying to Kent and Medway
My UCAT score: 2690 Band 2
Predicted grades: A* A* A
EPQ (pending): maybe A

GCSEs:
7 9s and 4 8s
I didn’t go to a state school

Do you think I have a chance at getting an interview?

can someone please explain the contextual data of your gcse school i.e. where to obtain data of your school average to compare with your score?

i’m a gap year student (so group B i believe) with A* in French, A in Biology, A in EPQ, and B in Chemistry achieved. I am planning to retake Chem to apply to other schools too, but I still meet KMMS’s minimum A-Level requirements without this. I know they don’t accept resits but would it count in this case? I also have a 2740 b3 UCAT and 99999888887 at GCSE.

hey, im a welsh applicant so i think well both be taking the casper. we'll have to meet the same ucat cutoff as english school leavers, but then be ranked according to our casper result. they cutoff was 2470 last year

Do you know the cut off for this year? and will KMMS take in Advanced highers being BBB?

And when do we sit this CASper test?
