Hi, I have acheived AAB from A levels this year, 2022.
I have GCSES of 9999988888, and a UCAT of 3110 B1.

Will Kent and Medway consider my application for interview without me having to resit an a level?

Do you know the cut off for this year? and will KMMS take in Advanced highers being BBB?

And when do we sit this CASper test?

i think the test is sat towards the end of november. sorry cant answer the other 2 questions, but i just assume the cutoff will be a bit higher than last year.

i’m a gap year student (so group B i believe) with A* in French, A in Biology, A in EPQ, and B in Chemistry achieved. I am planning to retake Chem to apply to other schools too, but I still meet KMMS’s minimum A-Level requirements without this. I know they don’t accept resits but would it count in this case? I also have a 2740 b3 UCAT and 99999888887 at GCSE.

You can also apply to Leicester  without resitting

A*A needs to be in the sciences for Leicester, unfortunately

does it? I had A*AB predicted in bio, math and chem respectively, unless they count math as a science?

Yes, bio, chem, maths, physics or psychology count as the second science

I didn’t get one. Called them today because I didn’t get my login for KentVision either. On the call they confirmed they’ve received my application and I then emailed them to say I haven’t got my login details. They then sent them. They’ve been having problems with gmail accounts, they said it on their insta story the other day, don’t stress !

I got an email from Kent Information Services telling me that KMMS had an issue with my email (it’s a gmail address), their welcome email (including KentVision details) was attached to that. As others have said, they seem to be having issues with Google addresses at the moment but I’m sure they’ll fix it soon!

If you’re a grad or otherwise not contextualisable then you’ll have to do the CASper which they’ll use as an additional scoring indicator when deciding who to invite to interview. If you’re a school leaver you normally won’t have to do CASper provided they can find data from your school.

Not all applicants do CASPer, only some depending on what group they put you into (they place different applicants in different groups). KMMS contextualise applicants against their school OR using a scoring system; if they can’t contextualise you against your school for whatever reason, they’ll invite you to sit the CASPer as a way of making it more ‘fair’. So in my case, I’m a graduate with achieved grades and so I’d have to sit the CASPer if I pass stage 2a before they can invite me to interview
