Do I have to declare all qualifications on UCAS?

Yup unfortunately you have to declare all passes. I had to declare my D in physics igcse
The only way you wouldn't have to declare it, is if you resat the exam and then you would be declaring your new grade.

This is incorrect.

even resit qualifications need ALL awarded grades to be declared.

All qualifications need to be declared. A D at AS Level won’t lead to a rejection.

yeah, a university would have to be exceptionally snobby to reject you solely on a D at AS
Declare everything. I've known a candidate not declare his C at short course GCSE PE and a university rejected him, not because of the grade but because of the dishonesty.

as far as I'm convinced my whole application is ruined now lol!!. is there any way I could get it re-marked, and then set the grade as "pending" or will I still have to present that D? honestly I wish I'd just got a U so I wouldn't have to put it on there at all

You’d have to list a U in any case, it’s still an awarded grade.

If it’s an AS and you have strong predictions that it’s not going to make any difference as to whether you get an offer.

As noted above, unis care a lot more about dishonesty than stray AS grades.

If you get a U you still have to put it on there... just add the D to the application form. No one else cares but yourself.

I just received a D for my additional studies// thinking skills AS exam. This sticks out like a sore thumb for my UCAS application, as I am predicted A*A*A and got all 9s at GCSE. Do I have to include this in my ucas application? Is there any way around this? Now I'm worried if I do get rejected from universities it will be because of this D :frown:

Heya!
Sadly you have to declare everything even if you had a bad grade during AS. However, it won't ruin your application as you still have amazing 3 predicted grades which universities will care more about :smile:Universities only want 3 a-level grades after all. D is still a grade/ score and will just give you extra points on your UCAS I believe even if it seems bad.

I hope this helps and good luck I'm sure you got it!

Is it necessary to declare an A level that you 'FAILED' even if you're retaking?

Edit: Also how exactly would you do this?

Yes

You list it once with the exam centre, date and original result and then a second time with the new exam centre, date and pending result.
