how do i see the marks i got?
people are talking about the marks they got but my results is literally a table with my grades in it. how can i see my marks?

I assume the document you have is from your school, not the exam board. Is that correct?
Take a look at this example results slip from AQA. Note that it includes raw marks per subject, and per paper.

yes it was from my school. it was with edexcel and OCR

I'd ask your school for the actual results slip from the exam boards.
An example of what the OCR one should look like is here (with some further explanation here). I can't find an example of what an Edexcel one should look like, but would expect it to also contain the actual mark (not just the grade).
