Psychology Bsc. I was predicted AAA, ended up with ACU. Cardiff was my firm choice, York my insurance have already rejected me, I have no idea why it is taking so long For Cardiff to do the same, it feels like they're putting off the inevitable

Still on 'Hold' and apparently my case has gone to higher ups. They got my grades at 9am this morning and still haven't made a decision.

If they reject me at this point, how cruel of Cardiff to make me wait more than 6 hours for an answer. I wouldn't be surprised tho as I significantly got less than my predicted grades, and what they wanted. This waiting game is draining...

Still no answer. Called admissions four times. I feel totally forgotten about by Cardiff and my mental health has dropped through the floor. My god what a savage day this has been.

Honestly this is totally infuriating, and I am right there with you with that anger. There isn't much that we can do now until the morning, but if you want to chat about ATLA to distract yourself I am totally here for it- I have watched ATLA twice and just finish LOK recently, now I'm hunting for the comics!

I kinda feel like Korra at the end of season 3, seeing everyone celebrate all of their achievements ( jinora getting her tats) whilst korra is stuck in a wheelchair unable to feel like her self. I wanna feel hope. But like korra, perhaps I need a good rest

So On my end there has been no answer from Salford university , I know I have significantly missed my offer , my uni guidance counsellor said they are probably putting my application in a ‘waiting list ‘ to see if other better candidates can fill the space , which is such a bummer I do like my firm , but this treatment is beyond rude they had all this time to talk about my application and make up their minds they said I need to wait 48 hours I find this nonsensical.

Ive had the same with Cardiff. Its humiliating and extremely unprofessional.

Cardiff doing you like this and making you wait is actually disgusting. I can’t imagine how humiliated you feel waiting while everyone around you is celebrating

The thing is I know I missed the grades Cardiff wanted. I was instead stuck in a limbo waiting for 12 hours for them to make a decision. I've called them 5 times today and basically on the 5th go they were like, uh yeah we can't verify the grades you sent us soz.

Which makes no sense. York rejected me immediately. How Cardiff did not get confirmation that I didn't get the grades they want is baffling. I sent them off to the admissions team after the first phone call.

They probably got a lot of offers to accept and reject. They’re taking their time with each one. I know they probably gonna reject you but they’re taking the **** by delaying it and keeping your hopes up.

So all my accommodation at my insurance are full ffs . And I’m still waiting on Salford , I can’t even make a move until they make a decision and my parents hate the act of renting privately . I’m wondering if there is any clearing spaces even left in 48 hours for what I want to do , I do think they should just reject because I did miss their grades
