    On the left??
If anything, we're the most centerist country in the world.
Labour have moved in from the far left closer to the middle. And the tories have moved from the right closer to the middle.
Agreed, presently we're one of the most centerist countries in the world. From 1979-90 we had one of the most right wing governments of the western world. Britain has never experienced true Socialism (except possibly the government of Atlee with his nationalisation and Keynesian policies), and has never experienced true left wing politics (unlike the continent e.g Germany). This country is inheirantly traditional and conservative (with a little c) and our politics reflects this.

I would personally have them much, much higher than they are now. Owning a car should not be seen as a neccessity.
    Erm.. maybe not in Oxford.

Socially, probably the Netherlands. Economically probably N Korea. The left-right paradigm is outdated.

Also, the OP is an idiot.

I would starve to death without my car, how else would I buy my shopping?

I could never mingle with the common people on a pubic bus.
Is this a curly bus, rather than a bendy one?

It has the highest taxes, the highest government spending, and all the political parties are at least vaguely 'on the left'. The high number of poor people also contributes.

    Wait for poll.
    Hahahahahahaha. Stop trolling.
