Earth (and Planetary) Science degree

For anyone taking an earth science degree, what’s it like? I’m taking maths, physics and comp sci A-level but am interested in earth science. I’ve always loved rocks and am fascinated by tectonic activity and exoplanets, but I wasn’t interested in the human geography side of geography gcse (which is half). Is the degree closer to geography or science? How much physics is there? What sort of career are you planning? Anything else that might be helpful for someone considering earth science? Thank you in advance!
