Chester uni accommodation

I'm starting at Chester uni in a few weeks living in halls, and I'm not really sure what I need to take with me? or what I should be expecting in terms of the room and the building itself? if anyone could give me some advice that would be appreciated, especially anyone staying in bridge st row. thank you!

Hi @Kayleigh gater

We're looking forward to welcoming you to Chester soon!

You can find some information on our Bridge St Row accommodation here https://www1.chester.ac.uk/bridge-st-row. Within a couple of weeks our Accommodation Team will be in touch with more information and there will be an Induction module that you will be asked to complete. As part of the module there will be information to read such as our Residents Guide which includes a detailed list of what to bring and what not to bring, as well as what type of things are included in your accommodation as standard.

In the meantime, here are some of the basics which you might want to think about over the next couple of weeks:
Bedding (Linen, pillows, duvet, towels)
Crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans
Extension leads
Clothing (it's important to remember that not long after you arrive we'll be headed into colder weather!) and toiletries
Laptop and study supplies

Hope this helps but please let us know if you have any further questions!

Best wishes,
Becky
