Work experience is the main super curricular to talk about in your personal statement. Volunteering is also helpful. In terms of reading, you could read around the NHS, medical/dental ethics, new developments in dentistry or any parts of dentistry that interest you like orthodontics or periodontics.

Work experience (in person/ virtual)

Volunteering (health care, non-healthcare related)

Manual dexterity hobbies (playing an instruments, arts and crafts, etc)

Reading around dentistry in the news and related topics such as the NHS (hint, there's a massive NHS dentistry crisis ongoing)

Positions of leadership, management and caring e.g. head student team, mentoring
