sorry, just saw this now and want to 💯 % reassure you that no harm is done.
My objective is to stop someone else who has already had their interview ( with every best intention) breaking their NDA by trying to give you a helpful reply.
Hope your interview goes really well. Let us all know, won’t you.

I’m a Scottish school leaver who applied for the Scotland route! I received my offer on the 15th of February at 15:00 so they have started them.
Good luck on your offers, I’m sure there’s not long to wait now. I was told they would have most of the offers in by the end of March, so hopefully starting Monday 🤞🏾

Congrats!!
you got an offer on15 feb? your application must have been solid.
Mind telling me your interview date, UCAT score and predicted

Thanks! I had my interview on the 11th of January. 2790 UCAT, standard applicant with 4 predicted A’s at advanced higher. Received a conditional offer of three B’s.

Are you Scottish applicant aswell chose the Scottish or England route?
If yes then you likely to get the offer shortly.
Whats your UCAT score and predicted grades.
I am RUK applicant with 3070 B1 with 3×A* predicted plus A* in EPQ chosen english route and still waiting for offer.
May be once Scottish applicants places filled as much as possible then they look at RUK applicants I guess.
Do Scottish students prefer Edinburgh/ Dundee/ Glasgow/ Aberdeen over St. Andrews?
Seems like their acceptance rate is very low last two years

I’d recommend looking at the many official posts on the web that demonstrate the way St. Andrews picks those they make offers to.

Each step, be it personal statement, reference, academics or UKAT is a level that once successful passed leads to an interview and is then essentially disregarded. It is the interview performance alone that leads to an offer, conditional or otherwise.

I’d also hesitate to draw any inference or conclusion from previous years intake and I’d veer away from predicting what offers others may or may not get.

That’s my opinion anyway.

Yes I am aware of that. Thanks.
After interview its only your interview performance score. If there is a tie then they will use global UCAT score .
But based on SFC website and after speaking with SFC officials its seems like after pandemic they like to give more offers to scottish students than RUK as they think these Scottish applicants will stay with in scotland after their education and work with in the Scotland
You can see they removed scottish and rest of EU cap since 2020.
Its going to be same this 2023 cycle also
End of the day top performed Apllicants from RUK going to get place after they filled the scottish applicants they have in their mind.
SFC dont have any input in the number of scottish applicants and RUK applicants.
Its depends on individual Universities in Scotland.

There was never any cap on Scottish students, just student numbers overall. They gave a minimum number that had to be Home, so it is the cap was on RUK, that they have removed (theoretically; practically it seemed pretty similar ratios to previously)
