I just spoke to the admissions at Keele regarding portal downtime from 18th . I believe they came to know about it just two days back and she strongly advised me to submit the form by 17th .

For all of the sections do we need to write about how it is important for a doctor to use a certain skill(reflect on why it is important for a doctor) or just write about how I have demonstrated the skill?

How are you guys writing about paid employment? What does this mean 'caring you have done over and above what you would normally be paid to do in the role'? I work in a pharmacy, any ideas what I could say for this?

Yeah that's what I am probably gonna do because imagine there's technical problems on the 21st and I can't submit it.

Guys I wanna put down volunteer gcse tutoring as one of my 4 but what do I put down as the reference email or number. I can’t put my own number / email down can I 💀 I think I’ll just leave it blank hopefully they’ll understand

I have the same problem, I work as a clinical support worker in an outpatients clinic in NHS, but I don't know what they're looking for that's above and beyond the role lol, I think I just about get paid for what I already do :frown:

. But obvs they want people who are willing to go above and beyond.

Please note: The portal will be down from Friday 18 November 2022 at 2pm for essential maintenance and it is anticipated that it will be back up by 4pm on 19 November Saturday.

For UG Medicine Applicants ONLY - who are completing the Roles and Responsibilities (R+R) form. If you wish to view an example of the R+R form it is on the following page.

Not sure what to do myself, the original message of maintenance is still to the left of the portal which is says it finishes on the 21st. I would rather have the luxury of time and send it on the 21st but i also want to be safe and send it on the 18th. Probably going to ring admissions tomorrow and pray for some clarity. With the information, ill post it on the thread and hopefully it can help tailor our decisions for those in the same boat :smile:
