apply for the Physician assciate course with different foundation year course

I understand if I score 70% + on the Applied medical sciences foundation year I can apply for the physician associate course

But Can I apply to the physician associate course from transferring from a different uni?
Also doing the foundation year course at UCLan, can I transfer to Medicine still
Thanks

Yh I just want to know if UCLan does first. Im sensing not
Just looking for options like Physician associate

I still want to do medicine as my number one goal so after doing the Physician associate course with foundation year I will do grad med
I know it is extremely difficult
but DCC ....... Really can I increase it?

Maybe the C grades but the D grade I made the mistake of picking a subject and I struggled to increase the grade ever since year 13 no matter what I did
Only option if I resit is take a different A level honestly for me learn it by myself and sit next summer with my other subjects
That seems like a risk but Idk if its easier???

thanks for answering my question. I have low self esteem/motivation rn about it

I still want to commit to medicine in the future

But even if I retake thats a big grade increase. Maybe ABB I could achieve
I figured if I did do a different degree I would slowly build up doing placements and work experience on the side over the years, practice UCAT simulating it is the real thing (practice runs) and same with GAMSAT and practicing interview prep.

If i dont get in I would stick to my degree (physician associate) and have a job, and reapply again improving next time
Thats my thoughts

hopefully be a more mature student then

sorry I meant during my undergraduate degree I would find work experience UCAT practice placements etc until I finish it.
Yes PA is great I find it really close to the medicine career and the responsibilities
I would still choose to do medicine over being a PA I understand has restrictions and some things they cant do as a doctor like prescribing medication and a unclear career progression (I want to specialise) etc hope it changes soon

But I understand what you are saying. Thank you. Its hard right now to feel motivated to retake my a levels after seeing it on results day so I feel low rn

I will think about what you are saying hopefully when I feel better I will try to consider this. I still want to do medicine.
Its just seeing all these people having ABB or BBB makes me feel de motivated as I know they have a chance in a gap year

I see
Yh I am not happy with a PA being a back up
Ok I will considering thinking about reapplying for med for the last time for the next 2 years. If it doesn't work..... PA it is
. I may be the worse hopeful applicant so far I seen in student room with CCD but who knows. Maybe I can achieve what is needed.
Thanks again
