Chemical engineering foundation year

Hi,
I want to ask how the chemical engineering foundation year is? How hard is it? How to get the first 70 %at the end of it ? How to prepare myself now for it in order to get the best grade?

Hi there.

@artful_lounger or @mnot could help answer this query and the one on your other thread too (sorry you two, the link is below. :s-smilie:).

In future, try to post similar queries on one thread - thanks!

Best wishes.

It will strongly depend on your work ethic, background and aptitude for higher level mathematics & problem solving.

Generally if the university has accepted you they believe you should be capable of performing well, and have likely taken people of a similar background before. Of course with the start of a program their is always some variance in background and ability. But if your willing to put the required hours in their is probably no reason why you shouldn’t do well.

Hello,
How likely am I to be accepted into Loughborough for chemical engineering foundation year with DDD in btec applied science. I've also got 3 A-levels in biology, chemistry and physics but they are all E grades, I had a off day.
