Hi, if you want to do mental health nursing you can ask your university to switch it to that course. If you are just about to go into first year now, then you could ask the admissions team to switch your course on UCAS and at the uni now so you go into first year for mental health nursing and don't have to worry about switching in second year. If they don't have spaces on the course now, first year is general anyway and everyone studies the same in all the specialties and they usually have spaces for second year because alot of people drop out, they may offer you to switch some point in first year or ask the university, just make sure you do this early on in the academic year. You won't have to do interviews again if you already have a space at the same university. I think the grade requirements are the same for all the nursing specialties so don't worry about that.
