Basically, I quite like this girl I've met at uni. I've tried talking to her quite a few times but she always seems so embarassed and just forced when i we chat - and shes not really like that with other guys. The other night though, when we were both a little drunk, we stayed up til about 3 just talking - long after everyone else had gone to bed and i felt like there was something there. But since then she's gone back to being kinda awkward like before...
Do you think she likes me or actually dislikes me? it seems like it's one of the two...

Maybe she's just very shy around you, I dunno cause she wants to make a good impression or something, but with the addition of alcohol (ie a social lubricant) she relaxes enough and stops being nervous and you can talk properly.

The solution? Keep talking to her whilst you're tipsy, and after a while she won't feel awkward

    Ask her.
Ask her what? "Hi, why do you feel so awkward around me?" That sounds like a great conversation...

Heck, if the guys that I feel awkward around asked me that, I'd be ecstatic.

OP - Coming from a girl who is frequently like you describe (though I don't do the talking til 3 when drunk thing), it's just shyness. Shyness and a lack of ability to figure out how you're going to react. She doesn't want to say the wrong things, be ridiculed or laughed at, just to get to know you in your own time. Are you quite a loud, out going person? (I'm gonna bet yes)
