I don't know when your assessment center was, I did mine late November. If you haven't heard since then, it's likely you're a backup incase people don't pass interviews or decline offers. That's my assumption anyway for my situation.

I didn't really hear back, I emailed them and apparently i'm still in the running.

Yup they finally rejected me after 4 months of waiting lol. Got another apprenticeship so it's all cool though

Didn't seem automatic, it was for audit. I asked for feedback straight after and they replied instantly saying no

That’s so strange, I’ve legit been given feedback throughout and I signed up for Tax and they moved me to Audit so how are roles even filled? I know a couple people who have signed the contract, but as a safety net. What if people end up declining them last minute, what would they do then?

Oh alright. What I meant is when you sign the contract that means you are 100% ready to join the company or still not yet confirmed?

I wanna say yes but also no? They apprenticeship didn’t have specific grade requirements but you are expected to achieve similar to your predicted grade

I've already got my grade and signed the contract. I just want to take a break from work prior to starting, as I applied for the spring intake. Do you reckon it's alright if I leave my current job now and it's safe to do so or should I wait more?

I mean it’s your choice, if you don’t need the extra money why not
