Honestly just be yourself, someone from Grant Thornton will call you before each stage to coach you and answer all of your questions. You have nothing to worry about. It really was a straightforward process ☺️

Whatever you do just remember their CLEARR values

ive got theough to the dogital interviews x what sort of questions do you think theyll ask x

From what I remember it was 4-5 questions, lasted around 10-15 mins.

It focuses on why you chose an apprenticeship, why GT, why you chose whichever sector you picked. Make sure you remember their CLEARR values and why they’re important in the workplace! You should’ve received a coaching call where you can ask a bunch of questions + you’ll be given tips then

Use the STAR technique and have a range of examples to back up your point

How long did it take for you to be invited to do the video interview after you did the initial online assessment.

Hi guys, I’m in year 12 going into year 13. I recently applied to Grant Thornton’s Financial Tax Apprenticeship and somehow made it past the strengths assessment to the digital interview. I was wondering if any has any tips for this stage. I’m assuming I’ll get some competency questions?

Also if anyone else is applying to Grant Thornton or applied last year maybe we can talk on this thread : )

Update: I’ve received an offer for Audit

Hi, do you have any tips for the case study stage?

How did people find the case study? Was it time pressured?

Really challenging - so so rushed for time! I failed the stage last week. Leave a good while to form your response as there is no point analysing all the information and coming up with ideas but failing to write them down due to the time pressure.

Hope it goes well for you
