That has to be the most commonly asked question in an interview, but how do you answer it without giving the eye rolling "because I want to help people" answer?

you just need to be ready and say what are your main reasons to be a nurse.I remember been asked the same question a few years ago.I did say because i have always wanted to care and help people but expanded on this.Every applicant for any branch of nursing will have different reasons why they want to be a nurse and why they have chosen that particular branch ie adult, mental health, children and learning disabilities. :yep:
