I don't see the problem to be honest. Attention is attention is attention. It should be taken as a compliment.

Getting whistled at by good looking girls is nice. Getting whistled at by not-so good looking girls makes me run for the hills.

Yes, I'm a *******, but at least I'm an honest one.

No, I'd assume she secretly had a penis and construction equipment.

i think it's too 90s, uncouth and off putting :yep: and a silly way to get a girl's attention, far more gentleman-ly ways to get the attention of girl/approach a girl

I agree, and they are likely to be more successful.

Some random chap at the train station yesterday came up to me and said discreetly, "I hope you don't mind me saying, but your hair looks very glamorous for 11am on a Wednesday morning". That made me smile And we ended up sitting on the train together and chatting together for the entire journey.

    Much more effective.

A true man doesn't whistle at a girl. That said, when I was a bit younger I used to do it but I wasn't experienced back then. I couldn't even whistle, I had to carry a whistle with me (which made it kind of cute ).

I like being whistled at though.

I don't know, being wolf whistled at means that I look good however as I am in a great relationship and I find it inappropriate :P

Did you shag him? If not what effect was achieved, exactly?

He had more contact with me than someone who wolf whistles (they get an evil look at most).

How would the 'whistler' know except if you were actually with your partner though?

What does the whistler actually want to achieve via whistling?
