missing first 3 or 4 days of college/sixth form

so I'm going on holiday on the 1st of sept and am coming back on the 8th so ill most likely be missing the first 4 days of college including getting my time table and I've been stressing over it for the longest time now, I seriously no longer want to go on holiday :/

Have you got permission from the school to miss the beginning of term?

sounds like a bad idea to miss the start of college tbh. either try and find a cheap flight back early, or don't go at all

Hlidays are not an allowable reason to be absent and they haven't given permission in advance.

Don’t stress too much about not being there on the first day, a lot of the time in colleges/sixth forms students who were on the waiting list (if it’s really oversubscribed) get accepted later so start late, or if it’s your school sixth form students might come back from other colleges/sixth forms so it’s very possible you won’t be the only person starting late. Even if you are the only one, it’ll seem daunting at the time but once you get the first day over with you’ll be fine. There’s no need to panic
