Not everyone drinks here and its not as bad as the press makes out. A lot of Muslums attend UK Uni's and they find it OK to deal with. Some stick together and make their own plans, others integrate yet stick don't drink etc.
The public in general are good people and will leave you alone, like all places in the world there are people whom are not so nice. But if you don't make yourself stand out like a loon then you will be OK.

I assume you mean when socialising at a pub, night club or party. These are pretty much the only occasions where people drink excessively in groups, not everyone drinks and those that do are too drunk to notice that you aren't drinking so you'll be fine. Other than that most people go to work, restaurants, libraries etc without drinking too much.

Personally, when I get so much as a medium-sized sherry in me, I find myself intensely worried about the subjugation of my race by foreigners, and feel that I ought, in turn, to get them before they can get me.

Hmm. I'm kind of a Muslim and Agnostic, and I do drink sometimes. However when I used to be a devout Muslim I did go shisha and make different arrangements.

It is generally alright, and you won't be forced in to drinking! Do Shisha instead!

    Hope I helped!

Gosh, I really think Britain needs to improve its international reputation, if this is anything to go by.
