Ok so for the past few weeks or so if ever I masturbate or am stimulated sexually I would get a really bad headache that would pass quite quickly after I was done. But recently I am getting the same type of headache at other times (possibley when lying down?) I really am quite scared becuase I'm pretty sure it's not to do with my blood pressure because mine is fine so the only other thing I can think of is some kind of tumour/anuyersum. Probably irrational. I'm female by the way and have been sexually active for years so this has just come on now randomly.

    Thanks for any help.

Do you sit on a chair when you masturbate?

When you say headache, is it actually a headache?

Or is it a kind of pain on the back of your head/neck?

It feels like a proper headache but it's always at the back of my head on the left. It's quite sharp pain, definatley not on my neck though.

"Sharp pain" I think you're getting vascular blockage on the back of your head.

It's due to your positioning when masturbating I believe.

Try and go a week without masturbating, and when/if you start again make sure you're not in an uncomfortable position when masturbating.

Post orgasm headache. Not very common and not harmful. You stop getting them after like a week or two. Believe me, most teenage boys have had a phase of going through them, girls get it too. You'll be fine

It's not after I orgasm it's about half way through doing it and then afterwards as the pain subsides when I actually orgasm.

Thanks for replies, sounds like that could maybe bbe it.

I used to get this when I first started orgasming from masturbation. It wasn't sharp pain though and I didn't get it on other occasions. It stopped happening after a few months, but I didn't stop masturbating during that time - the pros outweighed the cons :o: but I think I did do it a bit less.

That's how it happens, don't worry, you're perfectly fine. Believe me, they're harmless
