5th choice- Awesome uni or a rubbish one?

By rubbish I mean not as good as my other choices of course :smile:

The thing is, I can't decide whether I should have one more insurance university (University of the West of England, Bristol), or go a bit mad and apply to a uni one grade higher than what I am predicted (Bristol).

I have one insurance uni and two good ones at the moment.

What would you do?

The English course at Bristol is supposedly one of the most popular ones, so it would probably be a very long shot indeed.

If English is a competitive course though take into account would you get an offer if your not predicted to get the grades.
On the other hand if you wouldn't be really happy going to UWE it's not worth applying there.

Yeh it depends whether you would be happy going there. I put down Belfast as my 5th, as an insurance, because putiing down a lower one was the done thing. Thing is I now realise that if I missed my other 4, I wouldn't go, I'd reapply. I like it, because it's a beautiful place+interesting place, but it's too low down the rankings. So what was the point?? I should have put down another I would really like to go to.

So if you would actually like to go to UWE, apply. Otherwise, yeh go mental.
