    Oh you do play the double bass. That's awesome, actually- must be a pain to carry round though if you have to; it's bad enough carting a cello round

    Most of the time... :P The main problem is that they're all different so if you want to perform on a particular organ you have to practies on that one... Actually my school has a chamber organ, which is about half the length of an upright piano and twice as thick, and is on castors. Still has pipes though, and is good to practise on, and actually sounds quite a lot nicer than the rubbish one in our chapel...
