I'm a bit late on this forum, but congratulations to everyone who got an offer🥳. I'm an international student from Australia and can't wait to meet you all on campus. I'm a little anxious about the cold weather though❄️🌧.

I’m not sure they’ll take gamsat scores into account for candidates on waitlist unless interview scores are tied - they said in the webinar that everyone is put back on a level playing field before interview

My GAMSAT score was 61 but one of my friends applied with 57 and received an interview offer. I'm guessing as long as it is above the 55 cut-off, you have a chance😃.

Any applicants who applied with an Australian bachelor's degree alone? Did the university mention what is the WAM/ GPA that is equivalent to a UK upper second?

i would say about 25-30 get offers from waitlist people choose to go to other med schools so have faith if your interview went relatively well. if you bombed your interview at this high stakes level then you can forget it

your possibility getting an offer from the waitlist would be higher if you were from ni/ irish / ruk in that order . there are 7 spaces for international students so less wiggle room

Offers presumably won't be made to people on the waiting list unless offer holders reject their offers, so it will come down to that I imagine. People are probably waiting to hear back from other unis before they make their final decision, so you'll have to wait for that

the ucas deadline is may 30th and thats when the big movements would start up until the start of the course even till like early late august becuase some students would have multiple offers.
