I understood it that if you met the contextual markers and the gcse requirements, you get an interview

I don't think so, as long as you meet academic and non academic requirements mentioned on website, you should be fine

Cool. Thanks for the reply.

On the website, they ask for grades 4 and above in the 3 core subjects in GCSE'S.
Did anyone get emails for interviews? or have they started the process of shortlisting?

So, the shortlisting process started this month?

The acknowledgement email said that we had till 18/11 to send in our evidence

Wonder if they will then start making decisions shortly afterwards

Please check your email regularly as we may be in touch via this address should we require any further information from you. If you become aware that information is missing from your UCAS form, please contact us as soon as possible and no later than the 18th November so we can make sure this is considered during the shortlisting process. Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all necessary information is made available, and we will be unable to consider any additional information provided after the 18th November.

If you are successful in being invited for interview, we will be in touch by the end of December 2022 with details of interview times for you to book onto. All interviews will be taking place online this year. Interviews for Medicine and Dentistry will be taking place throughout January and February 2023, via Zoom and they will be MMI based.

If for any reason you are unable to send your evidence by 15th October, please still e-mail the admissions team before the 15th October stating that you are applying with contextual markers, but please make sure you send your evidence by 18th November at the very latest (after this date your evidence will be rejected).

Ya, I don't know what to say about that. Won't they give a strong preference to applied science students though since applied science is not mentioned in the 5 year course?

Did Plymouth send a link to their personal portal (if they have)? and did anyone receive any email today cause when I called them last week, they said that the emails would be given out from today.

Reply 38

Not received a thing from them.

Wonder if this means I have been rejected
