i applied to plymouth, exeter, southampton, edge hill and biomed at kings. tbh i was gonna apply to edmp at kings as well but they say that other applicants who arent resitting may be seen as more competitive so i just decided not to.

Yeah, I read about that too. I applied anyway, it was like a shot in the dark. Tbh I'm not as serious as last year about this medicine application. I'm lowkey reconsidering doing med icl

they make the application so hard and complicated which is why we have a doctor shortage in the uk. really and truly it should be who ever gets the highest grades, gets accepted. no need for personal statement and ucat and interviews. so long for no reason

Guys anyone know if there is any disadvantage for having high predictions if the standard offer is BBB? I doubt there would be but just double checking!

my predicted are AAA and i emailed and they said it doesn't matter!

No frrr cuz the UCAT is actually so stupid😭 like how is me knowing "how many right-angles in an arrow" make me a good doctor😀😔. Also, UCAT is based on luck. If you get nice questions on the day then ur sorted

girlypops I haven't even read them properly😻🤞🏽
Is anyone who’s reapplying going to use the same answers from last year? I emailed Southampton and they said it’s fine but idk.
So we all are on the same boat 🤭

Does anyone have any stats for how competitive BM6 is by any chance? Or personal experience/knowledge?

I read somewhere that there is 1place per 19 applicants

Yes that’s what they’ll use
Guys I was wondering if the intercalated year for this course is like the one in Nottingham where you don’t have to take out an extra year
Or would I have to spend an extra year for this course if I wanted to intercalate ?
