I have finally had it with my Accounting tutorial guy, Abdel. Every week he makes a series of fundamental errors (such as saying that creditors are assets, debtors are liabilities, there is such thing as a provision for bad debits, if you are receiving you always debit). I just think, I am paying over £3000 a year to have you teach me, no thanks. The attendence in his tutorials has gone from 50 to 14, which says a lot about how other people view him as well. I know others have also had problems with him in both accounting and QT.

I was just wondering who I go to/how I go about complaining? Through my student rep? To Ilias who is my accounting lecturer?

She's Anne Essex and you can talk to her by calling 204-3106. Even if she can't help, she'll certainly be able to point you in the direction of someone who can. I'm not sure where she's physically located, but you could always e-mail her and ask for an appointment?

Try her first. If not I'll see if I can do anything cos I'm on one of the committees and I've had issues similar to you.

That's always the difficult part, knowing how to word a complaint about someone without coming off as offensive. :p:

I'm good at complaining, but I'm not good at complaining officially.
