University of Cambridge BMAT scores, Who had offers for 2022

Hi,
What are the BMAT scores for those who had offers and joining medicine at University of Cambridge in 2022?
I read somewhere predictions for 2022 are based on historic data
Section 1 7.0
Section 2 6.8
Section 3 3.5
Is the above grades are correct or its bit lower than this
Please advice

I saw an FOI recently that did say that average BMAT scores were quite high for successful Cambridge applicants this year. My scores were 7.6, 7.6, 4A.

Wow! Congratulations that's excellent results.
Thanks for the FOI link.
I hope you got your first choice college you applied with that score.
May I know which college you got offers from?
I guess cambridge doesnt take consideration of GCSE grades of 2021 or 2022 intake as they were teacher assessed. Am I correct?
If you dont mind asking whats yr GCSE and A Level grades . I am sure you might have great results like straight all 9 and straight all A* .

Thank you. I am going to Trinity, which was my first-choice college. A levels were 3A*s (and A in EPQ but that wasn't part of the offer). GCSEs were nine 9s and one 8. I'm not sure if GCSEs were ignored altogether at Cambridge as they are not generally so transparent with their admissions, I only know Oxford ignored them.
Wow! Congratulations💐 Brilliant choice.
I am sure you will enjoy your time there.
Can I PM you .
Need some advice on BMAT preparation.
Can you share your experience preparing for it.
Do any of Cambridge college accepts just A in chemistry and other two are A*
Oxford accepts A* in any of the three subjects rest can be A to get offer I believe.
Thanks

Hello, yes you can PM me. Although I might not reply until tomorrow. As for the A in chemistry, it depends on what they offer. It will always be at least A*A*A. My offer didn't specifiy any subjects for the A*s, but I know others did. Are you applying with achieved grades.

Hi numnum1111,
How do they work out this GCSE A* average for each colleges according to the above FOI ?
Is it total GCSE scores divided by number of subjects taken by applicant?
Let say some one had
10×9 =90
1×8= 8
1×9 =9 HPQ ( not sure if they take this as one subject)
Total = 107
Then 107÷ 12 = 8.91
Or total of 98 without HPQ and divided by 11= 8.9
Not sure how they get the average of 10.1 per example in Trinity .
Please advice

No, it is simply the average number of subjects applicants scored an 8 or 9 in.
