How to dry clothes that are not meant to be tumble-dried?

Hey @ChrisC2401,

Clothes horses are a lifesaver! You can get them at Wilko for fairly cheap. They fold to be very compact so space shouldn't be a concern! You can use them for all of your clothes and it may save you paying to use the dryer.

However, you can get smaller rails that you can put on your radiator if that is more convenient!

All the best,
Sara

I personally think this would be a great idea in the current climate emergency.

Thank you to everyone who replied. You have been really helpful
What if tumble dryers are free to use but lots of items can’t be tumble dryed and Uni handbook only emailed to students three days prior to moving in day clearly states no drying clothes in bedrooms also no radiator available in bedrooms just a tiny storage heater in a small space behind the door with a notice saying do not cover?

Or would you still recommend using a small easily hide able drying rack/airer. No Ensuite just a bathroom shared with one other student.

Thanks
