    I'm still confused.

I have learnt the lessons of seeing people with huge talent and work ethic who never quite felt they got enough. Who never felt in power and always felt controlled by other people. I look at the football field and those who lead, I always work hard but never have the nerve to boss people around, I look at business people, I look at the likes of a Piers Morgan or a Simon Cowell and they fascinate me. Even those with great work ethic and talent will never feel in control quite as much with those with the neck, personal skills, audacity and self assurance to lead.

    Can anyone help me....

Well, most people have a neck.

I don't really understand what you're asking about.

Every now and then I cower and I need to find empowerment.
Empowerment is paramount to how I can begin to mount
a plan that I can implement to make a dent on ignorance
instead of drunk belligerence and the dissidence of miscreants.
Especially in this instance with the never ending persistence
to use the words in each sentence as if they were blunt instruments
to beat a hole in the defence of this beauty and her innocence
which serves to just build resistance in spite of all my good intents.

Do you especially need to boss people around?

[I think] I get exactly what you mean.

There are many vastly talented people who're simply swept along by the vast currents and wakes of those who have the vision, determination, drive, and sometimes just pure luck to shape the course of major events. There're surprisingly few (i.e., one doesn't find them often) of them. And yet surprisingly many as well (they're all over the place doing stuff, just look around!).

*sigh*... such is life, the fact that a few people will for the most part determine the fate of many, and that the talents of many will be put to work for the good of a few.

    - Hope I've got what you meant, but voilà my 2p regardless,

    - Dom

Not boss people around but stand up for my rights, have some control and not feel like peoples puppet

Perhaps think of how you'll feel if you don't stand up for yourself and use that to motivate you? :dontknow:
