I recieved my task on the 22nd of October, which was about 10 days after submitting my UCAS application.

I had to send the task off within three weeks of receiving the letter, so naturally it was sent off exactly three weeks later! haha. I hope they dont think I havn't put enough effort into it...Manchester is my fifth choice!

Well, the deadline is the 15th January, they're not by any means obliged to ask you to complete the task until around that deadline! :P

I havent heard anythign from them either...but I only sent my application away on the 3rd November. So i haven't got a drawing test after 10 days.
Do they send the task by post? because i got my UCL task through an email.

"originals, photocopies or photographs of larger pieces of work are equally acceptable"

Which means that you can take photographs of your drawings and send those in instead...! You can then use those drawings for something else.

Well, really, it gives you the option of drawing on a larger scale and then submitting that in a smaller scale.

Are you only allowed to draw using pencil/sketching?

Pretty much, yeah...It's stupidly open ended.
And no, any medium you like...(I asked on the open day )
In fact, i'm pretty sure each of my pieces was in a different medium.

Logged onto track to find I have a conditional offer from Manchester... Don't know what it is yet exactly, but at least I have one!

And there I was feeling all dejected by lack of response from my unis...
