i mean what purpose in nature do tears serve at the moment you are sad :confused:
also do animals cry? (they might do a bit who knows) and if not why is it only humans that cry :confused:

and on a similar note why do i have nipples? :confused:

If you get something in your eye tears flush it out and contain enzymes like that can prevent bacteria or other pathogens from entering the body. Its also for lubrication.
