I am currently applying through UCAS individually, and taking an A level at a local college as an external candidate.

How can I put down this predicted grade? Should it just be mentioned by my referee in the reference?.. because obviously I can't put it down in "Education" since I am not actually studying at the college I'll be taking the exams at.

Just checking. many thanks for any clarification!

my friend had the same problem for math as he was taking it privately..
LSE emailed him asking someones contact number or email so he or she can predict his grade...
he gave the email of his tution teacher who was teaching him privately

well, i'm doing it privately.. so i reckon i'm just going to make sure it's in my reference (since it's not like i'm studying it at a college therefore can't put down a "pending" grade). and hope for the best.

I'm having the same problem. I'm gonna ask my old subject teachers and new one and hope my stupid old school adds it in to the reference. They demanded predicted grades from me, yet said that no student was supposed to know them as they just went directly from teachers into the ref! Stupid hypocrites!

You'll have to put it down as pending otherwise you're withholding information and there's the risk they'll consider your application fraudulent. Put the college in, then put yourself as a "part-time student".
