Has anyone had a written offer letter for the scheme yet? And did it come from the council or from NGDP/LGA? The council I've been accepted to want to set a start date but I am hesitant to commit, as I don't feel comfortable handing in my notice at my current job without receiving something in writing. But the longer I wait the more likely it is I'll need to push back any provisional start date. Anyone else in a similar boat or any idea when we'll receive a written offer?

Hello, I am in the same position and explained it to my council, they assured me it should be done before August if all goes well. I’m going to check in with them Mid July to see how it’s going. But other than that I’m just going to wait because there’s nothing that can be done :/

I'm glad i'm not the only one in this position! I followed up with them and politely said I need something in writing before I can commit to starting, and they were very understanding. I think I'll receive the offer letter next week, hopefully yours will be on the way too if you haven't received it already?

Hi guys, has anyone been allocated a second round interview at all?

I have yeah, at Islington council later today.

I originally got just one interview, at Southwark council, but wasnt successful. They did however find me another job, so for the last month I've been doing what feels like fairly high-profile work in the Schools HR department, attending dismissal hearings etc and analysing strike data. I'm a primary teacher so perhaps they thought i was better suited going straight into a specific department, rather than an open ended grad scheme. I have no idea, but just shows if you perform well enough at the interview, so ething unexpected might come out of it.

Anyway, obviously still chuffed to be offered an interview at Islington (totally surprised it came up on the 2nd round list tbh) but yeah, not feeling mega confident as I imagine theyre interviewing quite a few to fill in a last minute gap..

Anyone else interviewing?

Good luck all for this final hurdle. Well, the work itskef can he a bit of a hurdle - but you know what i mean!

does anyone know the timeframe/dates for hearing back about the second round of interviews?

I think that will depend on the date of your interview, and council. I interviewed with Islington on Thursday, and they said they'd let me know hopefully by the end of the week, so sounds like it's to do with their own internal timeframes,

Where did you interview?

Good luck!

Hi, I had a second-round interview and was offered the job the same day! I don't think its the long process of the first time  I hope your interview went well x

Hi! There are 4 stages.
Well done on passing stage 1. Stage 2 is Virtual Interview Video. Stage 3 is Assessment Centre and stage 4 is Council Interviews

Hello. I am in the same situation. Would you mind me asking what sort of questions are covered in stage 2? Also, I am not too sure what is being assessed at the assessment centre in stage 3 e.g., is it a group exercise or written assessment? If it is the latter, what is being assessed and how do I practice for it if I am successful in stage 2? Thank you in advance.
