I wasn't really paying concentration in class today because i was so tired so I could use some help on how to work the equations out, plot the graphs and shade the regions. I got it in class but I've forgotten now

How do you work out y is lesser or equal to 3x.
And 3x+4y is greater than or equal to 12.

I don't want you to do the questions but just tell me how to work them out.

    Thankyou.

First you would plot the lines normally on a graph as you would do if it was an equals instead of a \geq sign. Then pick a value for y and if it fits the constraints, shade that side of the line. If it doesn't then shade the other side of the line.

This is a basic way of doing it but it work for me.

Thanks so for y=3x I would for whatever x is i triple the y right like normal?

Sorry it took so long to reply. To do y is lesser or equal to 3x draw the graph of y=3x and pic any number on the graph. If you triple the x coordinate and it is more than the y coordinate then hade this side of the line. If not shade the other side.
