C3 Solving a hard equation! help! watch

1. this is in the differentiation and it said to find the equation of the turning point so i put dy/dx = o and got:

how do i solve this?

(it says to the power of (-x))
2. Is that meant to be:

or (This one's easy, too)

Therefore, x=0, or x=2

Or:

3. LaTeX tip - to do e^(-x), type e^{-x}.

Now first thing to note is that you can just divide through by e^(-x) since it'll never be 0.
