Decent enough session this afternoon. Quick one.

Press:

76 x 5/5/5

About the same as last time.

Chins:

bodyweight x 5/5/5/5/5

Last two sets close hammer grip.

Then home.
Tonight was much better than I anticipated given that I was feeling a bit deflated today...

Squats:

185 x 1

Did this beltless, so just under my previous, several year old now, belted max of 186 kg. Was very difficult, though.

Bench press

105 x 3 - paused
90 x 8/8 -TnG

105 is the most I have ever benched. The triple was very difficult, though.

Pull ups:

bodyweight x 5/5/4.5

Some foam rolling then home.
Tonight was hit and miss. Just wasn't "on" tonight.

Squats:

132.5 x 5/5

Light squats but felt heavier than they should have.

Press:

77 x 4

The nadir of the night.

Deficit deadlifts (15 kg/yellow plate):

180 x 5

Very difficult.

Then home.
Okay tonight.

Squats:

120 x 5
140 x 5
155 x 8

Going to use 5/3/1 for squats, but I'm going to do it twice a week and not do the deload since I will be doing a deload on Wednesday. The 155 x 8 set was quite hard, actually. Rack was quite squint, too.

Bench press:

107.5 x 2
90 x 8/8

107.5 was hard. Maybe I'm pausing too long. Maybe not.

Didn't have any chins in me so did some foam rolling then went home.
Really **** session tonight.

Squats:

130 x 3
150 x 3
165 x 3

Was hoping for 6 on the last set, but was just too heavy.

Tried to press but couldn't even get a single rep of 77 so went hom.
Slightly disappointing session tonight.

Squats:

130 x 5/5

Light squats.

Bench press:

90 x 5/5/5/5/5 - TnG

Wasn't feeling that strong on the bench tonight so though I would get a bit of volume in. Weren't that hard.

Deficit deadlifts (yellow plate)

185 x 3

Just wasn't feeling these tonight. Positions never felt right, and overall not good.

Then home.
Another bad session tonight. Not had a good session this week.

Squats:

140 x 5
155 x 3
175 x 1

The 175 felt really heavy. Squats just felt a lot weaker recently.

Press:

70 x 5/1

Just not feeling it.

Then home.
Better session tonight.

Squats:

155 x 5/5/5

Back to 3x5 to hopefully build up again, as my squat was down. First set probably the hardest, with the last set probably the easiest.

Bench press:

92.5 x 5/5/5/5/5 - TnG

Trying to get in some more volume.

Chins:

Meh.

Then home.

Not too bad.

Press:

Quite hard. Definitely regressed on this. Also had a headache around half way though this too.

Deficit deadlifts (yellow/15 kg plate):

185 x 3

Meh. Wore the belt. Same reps as last time but felt better. Still had the headache.

Then home.
Decent session tonight.

Squats:

160 x 5/5/5

Not too bad overall, although form maybe not as good as last time. Gaze not constant and kinda bottoming out sometimes.

Bench press:

95 x 5/5/5/5/5

Not too bad again, but the headache came back.

Tried to chin but not tonight, plus headache had waned a bit and didn't want to risk it coming back, so did some lacrosse ball work, then went hom..
Okay session tonight. Not a long one.

Light squats. Kinda bottoming out again...

Press:

72.5 x 5/5/5/5/5

Quite difficult.

Then home.
Decent enough session tonight.

Okay. Knee probably maybe coming back a little bit; perhaps form getting sloppy at the bottom with knees maybe coming forwards and inwards. I don't know for sure, but it's something to look out for.

Bench press:

97.5 x 5/5/5/5/5

Quite hard.

Deadlifts:

185 x 5

Quite hard again. Deficits clearly haven't done much for me, so I'm probably going to remove them from my training roster forever.

Then home.
Tonight was egregious.

Squats:

165 x 3

Weight felt really heavy, knee not the best, and body just didn't feel like squatting correctly.

Tried to press but 60 was a real struggle so went home.
Good session tonight.

Squats:

165 x 5/5/5

Quite hard and knee/leg kinda hurting.

Bench press:

100 x 5/5/5

Finally! Quite hard. Going to drop some sets.

SGDL:

140 x 5

First time doing these in a while. Tried straps but struggle to figure them out.

Then home.
Tonight was terrible.

Squats:

132.5 x 5/5

Light squats but never felt great at all.

Press:

75 x 1

Terrible.

Lacrosse ball work then home.
Working long hours atm or stuff going on in life? You seem to be having a bit of a tough time training atm

Just not feeling up to it, it seems. It's not been all bad, and I mustn't dwell too much on the bad when there is still some good, like the benching for example.
Tonight wasn't great at all.

Squats:

167.5 x 3

Just wasn't feeling it. Kinda paranoid that my trousers were going to burst which didn't help.

Bench press:

110 x 1 - paused
100 x 5/5/1

New 1RM.

Tried rows with 100 kg but only got a couple of triples, just wasn't feeling it, so did some lacrosse ball work then went home.
Another bad session tonight.

Press:

75 x 5/0

Barely managed one set, but didn't get a rep on the other.

Deadlift:

190 x 1

Not sure what happened here. 170 warm-up wasn't difficult at all.

Then home.
Damn strong press still, was rep 5 an RPE 10?

Maybe go to 180 odd for final warm up?
