    Mixed session tonight again.

    Squats:

    155 x 5/5/5

    Generally okay with a few dodgy reps. Hopefully getting the hang of proper squatting again.

    Press:

    72 x 5/5/5

    Very difficult, actually.

    Deadlifts:

    180 x 0

    Grip ****, and by this time had quite a sore exertion headache. Not sure what I'm going to do about my deadlifts...

    Then home.

    Bench press:

    Quite hard as I wasn't fully recovered.

    Chins:

    bodyweight x 3/3/3/3/2

    Mixed session tonight. Not feeling great over the weekend or today but went anyway because I wasn't bad enough not to.

    Squats:

    157.5 x 5/5/5

    Got them all. Went better than I thought they would have. First two sets actually quite decent. Looking down fairly helps with staying in the hips, but last set not quite as good and seem to feel it in my right knee and thigh again.

    Then tried to press 74 but felt too heavy. 60 warm-up was quite heavy, too. Probably should have gone lighter to get some work in. Then tried to chin but couldn't. Lost upper body strength tonight.

    Then went home.

    Got them all, but very difficult.

    Deadlifts:

    170 x 0

    Still none. Deadlift is ****ed it seems. Will go lower next time.

    Quite hard. Middle set the best in terms of form. Last the worst. Overall form not good tonight.

    Press:

    74 x 0
    60 x 5/5/5/5/5

    Not sure what's happening with my press... might need to de-load.

    Chins:

    bodyweight x 3/3/3

    Meh.

    Then went home.

    Light squats, but form felt like it is improving.

    Bench press:

    92.5 x 6/6/6/6

    Quite hard.

    Deadlifts:

    160 x 5

    Moderately difficult. Back felt a bit funny after my last warm-up so stopped at five. At least I got something this time.

    Tonight wasn't good. Back possibly injured.

    Squats:

    162.5 x 5/3

    On the first set my back felt really compressed. Kinda like some muscular problem. Hopefully it's not like what happened years ago that put me out of squats and deadlifts for months. On the second set it wasn't really the back that was bothering me, just never had much strength and form really deteriorating.

    Then tried to press, but only managed 60 before back not liking it.

    Some foam rolling and quick lacrosse ball work, then home.

    Quick one tonight. Mainly testing the waters regarding my back.

    Squats:

    125 x 5/5

    Not too bad at all. Didn't feel anything wrong with my back at this weight.

    Press:

    62.5 x 5/5/3

    Not sure what happened on the last set. A bit disappointing.

    Chins:

    bodyweight x 3

    Not feeling these.

    Some stretching from the pull up bar then home.

    Decent enough session tonight.

    Squats:

    Pretty straight forward and no back problems.

    Incline dumbbell bench press (setting 2 on the bench, so maybe low?)

    30s x 10/10/8

    Somewhat pleased with this to be honest.

    Deadlifts:

    170 x 5

    Okay.

    Then home.

    Never felt like I had anything in my after the second set, so deloaded, and only managed two reps.

    Was hoping for a couple more...

    Shorter rest period than usual, so later sets felt more difficult.

    Not a good one tonight...

    Squats:

    162.5 x 5/3

    First set quite hard but otherwise okay. Lost it on the third rep and weight felt really heavy. Hips went forward and although I got the weight up, didn't feel like I had another rep in me.

    Then tried to bench press but 80 warm-up felt far too heavy for a warm-up and didn't want to get stapled, so called it a day. Didn't feel like doing anything else.

    Then went home.

    Okay, I got them all, but form not great. Hopefully it's not regressing though.

    Deadlifts:

    180 x 1

    Disappointing. Was hoping for 5. I think if I have a bad squat session beforehand it seems to make me more tired for the deadlifts.

    Tonight was really poor. Tried to squat, got to 165 x 1 but just wasn't feeling it. Form off. Then tried to bench but 80 was feeling too heavy to get anywhere with anything more (was hoping for 97.5 for 3 x 5). So went home. Will need to work on some new programming I think.
