    Not a good session tonight overall.

    Squats:

    172.5 x 3
    150 x 8/8

    172.5 didn't feel good at all. 150 felt okay but that many reps quite difficult after the fifth one.

    Press:

    76 x 0/0

    Just had no upper body strength tonight; these felt heavier than usual right form the empty bar up.

    Did some lacrosse ball work, then home.

    Decent one tonight. Not in for long because quite tired.

    Paused deadlifts:

    170 x 5/5

    Very difficult, actually.

    Barbell rows:

    100 x 5/5/4/5

    Did these with a supinated grip after watching the recent Rippetoe video on them. Feel much better that way. Did a 4th set because I missed the last rep on the 3rd set (bar never touched my torso).

    A deload tonight - feeling a bit beat up and tired.

    Squats:

    170 x 3

    Form felt a bit off so stopped it at 3.

    Bench press:

    100 x 3/3 - paused

    Not too bad actually.

    Light squats, but felt somewhat difficult.

    Press:

    75 x 1
    80 x 1
    85 x 0

    Thought I'd go for a new PR since I didn't really want to do any reps but never got it.

    Not good at all tonight... continuing the deload, but was still hoping to hit a set of five on the deadlift.

    Deadlifts:

    195 x 0

    Just wasn't budging.

    Barbell rows:

    70 x 5
    90 x 5
    110 x 3

    Only got a triple at 110.

    Quite hard overall.

    Bench press:

    95 x 4/4/3 - paused

    Didn't have much upper body strength in me tonight (did 100 x 3/3 paused last time). Didn't push it with back-off sets as was not wanting to possibly be too fatigued for pressing next time.

    Press:

    Not too bad overall, although some of the later reps on the last set quite hard.

    Paused deadlifts:

    175 x 5

    Very difficult - hard to maintain a flat back. Also very hard cardiovasularly.

    Barbell rows:

    100 x 6/6/6

    A bit harder after the deadlifts but overall not too bad. Continuing to do these with an underhand grip.

    Okay session this evening... and a quick one.

    Paused deadlifts:

    180 x 4

    Failed the 5th. I think I'm doing these too heavy, as I'm not able to stay in a tight enough position and really engage the lats as much as intended - feels more like a normal heavy deadlift.

    Barbell rows:

    105 x 6/6/6

    Okay.

    Lat pull downs:

    70 x 10/10/10

    Not too bad.

    Tonight wasn't good. Had a pretty minor cold for the last five days, but went in tonight to find I had no strength at all. 130 on the squat felt awful. Then did 50 for 2 sets of 5 on the press, which didn't feel as bad, but still felt very heavy if you know what I mean.

    160 was really difficult; 130 wasn't that bad. 160 took a lot out of me, and really didn't feel like I could have done another set.

    Bench press:

    90 x 5/5/5

    Not too bad - usually my bench tanks if I take any time off for whatever reason.

    Felt really weak squatting tonight ... possibly hamstrings and glutes not recovered from deadlifts on Saturday, or maybe I just wasn't feeling it.

    Bench press:

    92.5 x 5/5/6

    Okay.

    Chins:

    bodyweight x 4/4/4/4

    Down a kilo or two so maybe these are feeling a bit easier.

    The reps I did weren't too bad, but after a bit of a breather I couldn't seem to do any more reps in the set.

    A bit harder. Some very borderline in terms of touching the chest.

    Actually felt quite good.

    CGBP:

    80 x 6

    Pecs quite fatigued after the benching so stopped there.
