    Okay session tonight.

    Squats:

    132.5 x 5/5/5/5/5

Initially quite difficult but finished off okay.

    Bench:

    85 x 5/5/4

Disappointing, but then I've not benched for 10 days. At least I didn't lose anything.

    Rows:

    60 x 10/10/10

Super-strict. Can feel them doing a world of good compared to cheat rows.

    Skull crushers:

    bar + 20 x 10
    bar + 25 x 10/10

Then did some mobility, stretching and home.

Okay session tonight. Quite short though as I didn't want to be all night.

    Squats:

    135 x 5/5/5/5/5

    Quite hard.

    Press:

    62.5 x 5/5/5

First two sets were quit easy, but on the last two reps of the last set my triceps felt really weak and fatigued, so really, REALLY struggled to lock out.

    Then home.

Meh session tonight. Couldn't really be arsed to be honest.

    Front squats:

    120 x 1
    125 x 1
    130 x 1
    135 x 1

Nice PR. Couldn't be arsed doing 5x5 squats so did fronts instead.

    Incline dumbbell bench press:

    30s x 6/6/5

    Quite hard.

    Strict barbell rows:

    60 x 10/10/10/10

    Not too bad.

    Mobility and home.

    Nice FS PB.

Not tempted to go for 3 plate? That would have been awesome.

Really good session tonight. Felt like doing low bar squats again, to see if my back could handle it, and it did appear to.

    Squats:

    186 x 1
    140 x 5

Boom, all time squat PR! Really difficult, obviously, and wasn't expecting it. Thank **** my gym has 0.5kg plates. Then did a back-off set with 140 which was quite easy. Bar positioning feels really strange after having not done it for so long. Hip drive still feeling quite natural, though. Hopefully I can continue squatting like this.

    Press:

    65 x 5/5/5

Not too bad to be honest. Easier than I was expecting.

Then some very quick stretching and home.

Fairly dire session tonight. Injured the same area as I did a few weeks ago. Didn't do much else, was actually feeling a little nauseous after the injury.

    Front squats:

    100 x 3
    110 x 3
    120 x 2

Injured during the 2nd rep, didn't attempt a 3rd. Otherwise the front squats weren't too bad.

    Bench:

    90 x 3/3/2

Fairly crappy. Disappointing. Then went straight home.

Meh session tonight. Just a quick one as back still not right.

    Dumbbell bench press:

    32s x 6/8/2

No idea what happened on the last set.

    Strict barbell rows:

    65 x 10/10/10

    Not too bad.

Then did some curls and upper body mobility stuff then home.

You set a lifetime 1RM after having only done 135*5*5 a week before it? **** me I think I would crumble way before my true 1RM if I tried that.

135 was done high bar with no belt, whereas 186 was done low bar with a belt. If you use the fairly accurate assumption that you can 5x5 80% of your 1RM, then I should be able to to do 170; then, add a belt and use the low bar position and it's not particularly inconceivable that I would get an extra 15-20kg.

You're modest. Just take the credit and run.

If I went for a 1RM my upper body/back would get crushed. All tightness goes when it's too heavy. Who'd have thought you need good upper body strength for squats. I didn't know/understand that before.

    Good session tonight.

    Press:

    67.5 x 5/5/3

Very difficult. Definitely never had a 4th rep in me on the last set.

    Shrugs:

    150 x 10/10/10

Hard on my hands. Never used straps because I can't figure them out.

    Pull ups:

    bodyweight x 5/3/3

I think 5 is the most I've ever done in one set, but the rest were meh.

    Incline dumbbell bench press:

    26s x 10/7/5

Reps really started to taper off.

    Curls:

    3 x 15

Some stretching and mobility and then home.

    Good session tonight I suppose.

    Bench:

    90 x 3/3/3

Felt really heavy but saw a video and the bar speed wasn't too bad. Tried a 4th on the last set and again the bar speed wasn't that bad but I hit a sticking point and couldn't get past it.

    Squats:

    worked up to 165 x 1

Traps really sore since shrugs on Wednesday, so felt quite awkward (low bar position). Didn't take my belt as I didn't know if I'd be able to squat, but back held up nicely. Might be a beltless PR, not that such a thing matters anyway.

    Good mornings:

    40 x 10/10/10

Just light since I've not done these in ages. Will add weight next time.

    Dips:

    bodyweight x 8/6/6

Not too bad for not having done them in so long.

Some very quick mobility and stretching then home.

Better session tonight than I was expecting. Wasn't feeling great at times today and wasn't feeling strong tonight either. Session cut short as well.

    Press:

    67.5 x 5/5/4

Disappointed about missing the last rep of last set, but still bet last time, and happy with my performance given how I was feeling.

    Squats:

    150 x 5/5/5

Used low bar again. 2nd and 3rd sets were the best. But annoyingly felt back pain again like what plagued me for many months last year. Not enough to make me stop, and I don't know whether it will either go away like it did when I started high barring or force me to high bar again, which I honestly wouldn't be bothered about as long as I can squat pain free and get stronger.

Then had a massive dump which took ages. Felt a bit deflated afterwards and really cooled down so just went home.

Also might be going on roaccutane soon. Not sure how it's going to affect my training - probably negatively, but we'll see.

I know that feel bro. I wasn't getting enough fibre and water before so only took a dump once a week and it was a very long, tiring one. Always felt drained afterwards. Good cardio.

But it was my third dump of the day! Just something up with my bowels and stomach today.
