Hiya,
Just wondering who's doing Media. Would really like to get a chance to speak to people who've chosen trent as their first choice as I didn't really speak to anyone on the open day I went and I'd really like to know some people before I start uni. I know it's not another year until I start but could hopefully of made really good friends with some people by then and moving into student accomodation wouldnt be so uncomforable

Hey! OO, snap!

I used to live in Nottingham, until I was 14. It really is a great City, there's something happening all the time but is different to London because it's not so big and you can get to know people better!

The uni has a good reputation and is definatly good!

What's your specialist pathway? Mines Journalism!

Hey! oo, wow! Are you ok about leaving your family etc?
Yeah Clifton is about 10-15 minutes from the City Centre, Ive done it on the bus, only in the car so I should imagine just a little longer on the bus, but there's buses straight from the campus to the city centre just for uni students, so it wouldnt keep stopping, which would mean it would be pretty fast.

Are you excited? Nottingham really is a great place!

I am really looking forward to it, from one side its quite sad to move out of my house and all comfort, but I’m so exited about student life and stuff!!
I really want to stay on city campus, coz its closer to the centre etc and went to Clifton just for lectures

Me too! And ive just logged onto UCAS to find they've offered me a Conditional place so ive been accepted YAY!!!:woo: :woo: :woo:

I want to stay in the City Campus too because my dad lives about 5 minutes from Clifton in the week (He comes up and lives where I do at weekends) so for me that would be too close to home! hehe!
+ my older sister and the rest of the family is in Nottingham, so I guess I wont be like you, i'll always have someone near. but hey, You'll make loads of friends, if your on the same course as me and we both accept then we could arrange to meet on the first day or something!

Im really getting excited and I shouldnt, because it's a long wait!

OMG! Congratulations! When did you send your UCAS? Coz I’ve sent mine about 8 days ago, I know its quite shot time, but I already got an offer from one uni.
Nah, I’m actually really exited to move from my parents and be forced to make new friends, coz my London friend are staying in London.
And its really good idea to meet there.. well if they gonna offer me a place

Nah, I’m still waiting for it. I applied to do Media Studies there, but honestly I am not that desperate about a place in De Montfort.
By the way, what offer you get from Trent?

This is the one I have a conditional for
Whats your specialist pathway going to be?

The campus it's on is the Clifton Campus! I would have rather it been the City campus, but Cliftons ok!
