Hi, I'm taking an A level at a local college privately. I am also applying through UCAS to different unis this year. Was just wondering if A level results are sent directly to UCAS --> the universities by the exam boards?
I thought maybe because I'm doing it at a different college externally, I might be responsible to make sure my result is sent to the unis I've applied to... even though I have no idea how I'd go about it.

The results are published to your university before you recieve them. This gives them time so they can make their decision before you find out what you got.
