I want to do english but also really want to get involved in the drama. is there any particular college/colleges that are known to be particuluarly drama-focused?

Homerton's the main one, but others have quite good drama clubs, like the Pembroke Players.

i've heard that corpus christi is good for drama...?
i know you can do drama at any college but obv some are more sport or music or drama orientated than others

Provided you mean as an extra-curricular activity: nope, any college will have that kind of society. There are probably also university-wide societies, and there's the ADC. If you mean as part of your degree: no, every college does the same Tripos.

homerton definitely all the way. other colleges will vary from year to year but homerton will always be the drama orientated college. this is also largely due to the fact that cambridge offer an undergrad degree in drama, english + education, but homerton is basically the only college that admit people for it, so there are tons of drama people here.

Incidentally, it's not true that every college has a drama society - for instance, mine (Magdalene) doesn't.
