if i had an interview i think i'd wear some nice trousers (probably black, beige or grey), black flat shoes and a fitted jumper... nothing dressy just simple but smart (but still comfy!)

Well as I say, I didn't exactly go for bad unis; Manchester(UMIST)/Oxford/Nottingham/Loughborough and only 1 person out of the whole lot wore a suit.....
You made a few strange posts after me for some reason.?

For media studies smart casual is cool.
A suit helped me for my course as it's related to medicine to an extent. :aetsch:

If its an interview wear a suit. If its a pint with your mates at the pub wear jeans. Just make an effort, first impressions really do matter, it just shows that you care about your appearance.

depends whether is a formal or informal interview, if you ask me. I was told to wear what i felt comfartable in, so went in jeans, jumper, and trainers.

I got an offer after that KCL interview - this is evidence that clothes don't really mean much - its down to whether one is able or not - ust go in tehre and show them what you can do, and don't (or try not to ) be nervous.

Moreover, whe ni went to KCL interviews, 80% of people were in smart clothes, so i did feel a bit embarassed and wore a smart shirt, trousers, and shoes at my other interviews!

hope this helps

i reccomend something smart - nothign extravagent, and chill out man!
