ok, so for a while the back of my heal has been sore, there are no blisters or anything it's just kind of hurt to touch. Then this evening i noticed that actually the back of my foot in general is swollen and tender. As far as i can see there is no reason for this at all. it's not twisted, there are no cuts or anything like that, but it feels strangely infected. Has anyone got any idea what could be wrong, and what i can do about it, because i really can not be bothered with going to the doctor about something so meagre, but it does kind of hurt when i walk/wear shoes, and i do these things quite a bit.

The doctor will probably just tell you to take ibuphrophin. In my experience they're rubbish with problems like that!

In the mean time, wearing boots might make things more comfortable.
