What is the best university foundation year?

I am a UK year 13 student who is not studying maths and physics at A-level.

Can anybody give me any suggestions on the best engineering foundation year courses that are available to me?

I have already got Uni of Nottingham and Birmingham as options.

A foundation year is not a qualification in it's own right, and they are not necessarily transferable between universities.

So, the best foundation year will be whatever foundation year comes with the degree you want to study at the university you want to study at.

In other words, don't focus on the foundation year. Focus on the degree you want to study and the university you want to study at after the foundation year.

Ok thank you I'll have a look
As above

And if you want to study engineering at a university that doesn’t have a foundation year option (or that has a foundation year for low grades rather than no suitable A levels) then you would be better off taking the 2 A levels during a gap year.
A levels will always give you more options and flexibility than a foundation year
There are STEM Foundation courses designed specifically for those with hgh grade expectations but in the 'wrong' A levels - for Engineering there is :

Southampton - https://www.southampton.ac.uk/my/foundation_programme/engineering.page
Birmingham - https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/fd/engineering-foundation.aspx
Cardiff - https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/course/engineering-foundation-year-foundation-programme
Loughborough - https://www.lboro.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/foundation/mechanical-engineering/
Nottingham - https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/ugstudy/course/Engineering-and-Physical-Sciences-Foundation+Programme
All of these Unis are 'good for Engineering - as mentioned above, you need to look at the main degree program at that Uni that you would then progress to - not just the Foundation year itself.
