I thought it would be a wonderful idea to fill up this year with a foundation art & design course, so that's where most of my portfolio stuff is coming from. Hopefully I'll have a good bit of my final module done by the time I get (if I get) portfolio requests, I've got a nice idea of what I want to do. This is all assuming people don't mind my personal statement which was a huge mess trying to explain what I'd done to get myself into my current situation...
Only problem is all my work is A1. How do people deal with these portfolios?! They're backbreaking with little more than a few pages in them! Not to mention the goddamn WIND. You could sail a boat with one of those *******s. -

You'd be surprised how many people love carrying them, arty girls sporting the 'dragged-through-a-hedge-backwards' look. Its the new handbag for the creative, dont you know. -

Precedent studies are studies on buildings that already exist. For example studying the building colsely, how it works, the design, structure and materials etc... Hope this helps.
