Remember he was out for a week after a seat on a plane injured him whilst he was sitting on it?

Tbf, I did once break a rib on the way to a rugby tournament whilst sitting on a coach…

TAA was ill so he didn't play but should be available v Villa, as will Alisson and VVD [who trained yesterday]. Milner felt something in his hamstring.

Reply 386

Firmino and Milner out for a couple of games. TAA hopefully will be better but hasn't taken part in full training yet.

Konate will be back in training on 27th

A couple of seasons ago, Gomez looked like a shoe in to be a very important CB for us. Now I wonder if we should bin off.. that said he is homegrown so maybe we keep him as 5th choice CB.

I think the homegrown factor is the only reason we gave him a new contract. He has 12 screws in his knee, there is just no way he can be the player he was unfortunately.

Liverpool aren’t getting top 4 it’s over. Salah posted a photo in front of a Christmas tree for the 3rd consecutive year.

2020/21 - first game after the photo against West Brom on 27 December, Liverpool draw 1-1 at Anfield. Liverpool went on a run of 5 games without a win, including 8 games without a win at Anfield featuring 6 consecutive losses.

2021/22 - first game after the photo against Leicester on 28 December, Liverpool lose 1-0 where Salah missed a penalty.

The curse is real. Thanks a lot Mo!

He has more goals than Jesus mate. Come on!

Nkeitah

I believe in the yute from Shepherds Bush

Other than Man City, it's hard to guess the top 4..

Arsenal will do their inevitable crumble at some point.
Newcastle don't have many players who have done it before
Liverpool seem to have a lot of injury problems and not enough midfielders this season
Chelsea will probably sack Potter before the end of the season
Maybe Man Utd will have some consistency now that the Ronaldo circus is over
Spurs usually like to bottle it

Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Nunez, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Keita, Elliott, Tsimikas, Carvalho, Phillips, Bajcetic, Doak

I can’t believe I’ve had to suffer 5 seasons of Chamberlain, how is he still being allowed to steal a wage.

VVD!!!!

Trent reminds me of Lukaku, flat track bully that is a liability when you come up against good teams.
